I took a screenshot of how it appears in Amd software under Settings Display Specs

Using a SAPPHIRE NITRO+ Radeon RX 580 8GB GDDR5 GPU and a Asus vg278q monitor

My monitor has a 1.2 DP from what I see so it should use 5.4 G right?

Any help or if I'm wrong please let me know thanks in advance

Does it works with freesync? If it works then yes, your monitor works in DP 1.2 mode same as mine... Driver shows wrong info, and for FAN speed too when it is in 0 RPM mode... If my Fan would spin at 65535RPM it would create tornado in my case...

Yes Freesync works as expected. So the idea is that DP1.1 doesn't even support Feesync so clearly it works in 1.2?

Btw what software do you use to display details about gpu temps and all? I see you have some in the pic and the Radeon overlay is creating some issues for me so I want to switch to something else. Appreciate if you have time to tell me that as well thanks

MSI Afterburner with RivaTuner... And yes, you cant have FreeSync on DP 1.1, so it works on 1.2... Its just AMD drivers as usual...
