Hello friends,
I’m using an AMD RX 6600 graphics card, and I’m using a CPU from the list. Is it sufficient? If not, which Ryzen or Intel processor do you recommend? According to my research, the CPU I’m using doesn’t seem to be providing full performance with my graphics card. Also, price is important to me, so it should be an economical CPU. Thank you for your suggestions.
List of system components
I don't know the pricing in your area, but if you can afford it a 5800X3D would be a good CPU upgrade. If you were looking at an Intel CPU then you would have to also get a different motherboard and probably ram. So, depending on the motherboard/cpu/ram combo it would most likely turn out more expensive then the 5800X3D. If the 5800X3D is out of your reach, then either a 5600X (6/12) 5700X(8/16) or 5800X(8/16) should be. The 5700X has a lower TDP than the 5800X and is clocked a little slow. Any of these should be a big improvement over you current 4/8 CPU.
The advantage of the 5800X3D over the others is it has additional L3 cache which improves performance quite a bit in a lot of games, but not *all* games and also not in most productivity software. Look at some old the reviews on Hardware Unboxed, LTT, GamersNexus, or whatever your favorite YT tech site is.
Lastly, you'll most likely need to get the latest bios for your motherboard and make sure it supports the CPU you end up getting. Going by the specs you listed, support for the 5000 range and specifically the 5800X3d was added in bios F63a. Strangely, F63d is not listed on Gigabytes support page, so it may have been pulled for some reason. Anyway, there is a F64 bios shown dated Jun 12, 2023 and includes an updated AGESA version and some more optimisations for the 5800X3D.
If your new to this, it may be worth getting it done at the local PC shop or a friend who has experience doing bios updates.

p.s. Two things I overlooked
1. Your current CPU has a TDP of 65W. The 5800X and 5800X3d are 105W parts. If you were to go one of those CPUs then you *may* need to also upgrade your PSU, however, the 5600X is a 65W TDP CPU though, so you should be able to upgrade to that without a PSU upgrade and still get a reasonable performance upgrade. I can't say for sure if you would need a PSU upgrade if you went for one of the other CPUs with a higher TDP because your spec breakdown omitted the PSU.
2. You may also need to budget for a decent CPU cooler. I've had a few friends who used the stock AMD cooler and ran into heat issues, this was on a 5600X.
It's the poor single thread rating holding that CPU back. Pick any CPU with a rating over 3000 and at least 4 cores and 8 threads.

This very good tech site gives their opinion of which CPU goes best with the RX6600 GPU card: https://www.wepc.com/cpu/guide/best-cpu-for-rx-6600-xt/
The 5600X is the ideal processor for the 6600 XT due to the 0% bottleneck between the two components in 1080p. This is the resolution the 6600 XT is made for, but you can get a little higher with SAM and FSR on your side. You can choose a lesser Ryzen CPU if you’re on a tighter budget, but doing so will result in bottlenecks.
