I recently purchased an AMD Firepro W7100 as a budget gpu for a cheap build, I'm limited on budget. The motherboard started to go out on that build, so I rebuilt a Dell XPS 8300. It came with a Radeon card, but it was faulty. After installing Windows on my SSD and getting it up and running, I tried to install the gpu. When it's installed, I get a black screen both from the motherboard and gpu. Everything is properly seated and connected. Please help with ideas and suggestions. I'm 2 days into this build and at a loss.

AMD Moderator of Professional GPU cards can probably assist you @fsadough 

But he seems to be away for the time being. Once he gets back he will probably assist all those with Pro GPU card issues.

Not sure which OS you tried to install. Make sure you disable the onboard GPU in system BIOS.

Hello, good morning.  I am a new to AMD community.

I too am trying to add a FirePro W7100 GPU to my Lenovo P520.  It gives black screens.  My other GPU RX570 from XFX works fine.

The P520 doesn't have a GPU on it's motherboard, btw.

The P520 is giving video after I swapped the XFX with a R7 450.   Only one additional GPU power cable was needed now.
