AMD Fire Pro W2100 with 3 Monitors

With the 2 Display ports, is it possible to hook up a 4K monitor on one port and then a display port MST hub on the second port to feed 2 1080p monitors for a 3 monitor configuration?

I'll admit, already tried setting up the hub and the system sees 3 monitors, but will never allow me to activate the third. It only always me to use in a 2 monitor configuration.

  • you didn't say which refresh rate you are looking for. 4K@60Hz or 30Hz?
  • And desired HD resolution is at what refresh rate?
  • What are the cables and adapters used?

Tried both 4K@60 and 4K@30
Other 2 monitors are 1080@60

4K and one 1080 monitor are DP -> DP

Other monitor is DP -> HDMI

So the FirePro W2100 has 2 DP ports. One DP port is straight to the 4K monitor. Second DP port has the MST hub plugged in:

Monoprice 2-Port DisplayPort 1.2 to DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST) Hub

First port is DP->DP monitor and second port is the DP->HDMI monitor.

Using a DP-HDMI Cable is no good. Try a DP-HDMI Active Adpater + HDMI-HDMI Cable.
