I'm trying to download drivers for my graphics. A few days ago, out of the blue, Ubuntu is really slow. Everything in the graphics intensive department (Playing games, using Unity, etc) is very slow. For reference, I now get <1 FPS in Left 4 Dead 2, whereas I'd normally get around 40. Wine games also run slow. So I'd decided to download graphics drivers.
I tried downloading amdgpu-pro, but gdm3 and lightdm didn't work. I had to uninstall the driver. Installing with --px did nothing. Installing with --compute allowed me into gdm3 and lightdm, but Unity still didn't work. XFCE worked, though.
I thought of reinstalling amdgpu, but I don't know where to download it from.
I tried visiting the page for downloading specific graphics drivers, but my graphics don't have a linux option, only Windows.
