Built a system with a 7950x3d, (Asrock Taichi) RX7900xtx, Asrock X670E Taichi MB, 32gb DDR5-7200, 2TB M.2. (PCIe Gen5) Its all air cooled so no freaky OCs. (Newegg rocks!)
system is stock tuned, trying to get the full 5k/ 120hz out of my VIVE Pro 2 in MS Flight Simulator, and F1-2023. Or as close as possible. If I can accomplish that then maybe iRacing will be easier.
i can also add an eGPU with a XFX RX6700xt… (Flight sim won’t work with a 2nd gpu running DX11). If need be.
Gettin’ wrapped around the axle between Global Experience and per app settings. Auto-Overclock turns itself off, because I have Smart Tech enabled. Would help if I were as smart as Smart Tech. I can at least still build them!
Anyone got any ideas unleashing this Kraken? Just sits there breathing red at me from behind its tempered glass, like my dog wanting to go for a run.
Steam Home runs fine at 6ms of 8ms. But fire up Flight Sim and VR goes to 17 of 8ms. Graph is all red and almost pegged, experience is crap.

I’m sure its my hardware that’s cookin’ not the computer’s.
