This is a brand new GPU and brand new build. All the drivers are up to date, but a few days after the most recent update I noticed a change in the behavior and took a look.

I saw this:

I'm not very sure why this is happening, the temperature is slightly above my normal idle temps at 45-50 C. I'm very concerned, is anyone else having this issue?

There were issues with high idle power consumption with the 7900 series reference cards early on in their life, but this has been addressed with recent drivers. You should not be seeing 100% GPU utilization at idle. Try rolling back to previous driver.

Seems to be working as of now after testing one of the former main triggers of this behavior, However I will not be marking it as solved yet due to the short amount of time and the potential for more issues.
