Hi, i have some crashing problems with my 7900 xtx. I had this problem on my old setup and the one i have now (new mother board, cpu and ram) I reistalled windows when i got the new computer parts and i have used diferent amd drivers with the same results. I believed my problem was that my old cpu was to slow for 79000 xtx but i have the same problem with my new setup. I have a solution for my problem and that is in Adrenalin go to performence->tuning and lower the max frequence a Little. The default Clock speed is 2300 and boost is 2615(for the card not in amd driver) and when i play in some games i se this go over 3000 on default settings.
Stable settings:
Min Frequency: 500
Max Frequency: 2859
Voltage: 1100
Power limit default
Games with problem on default values:
Battlefield 2042
Call of duty black ops 6
Games with some problems
Dead Space
Starwars Jedi survivor
Warhammer spacemarine 2 (Better After the patch)
Games with no problem
Furmark 30 min run
Cyberpunk 2077
avatar of the frontier
In the amd drivers if i sett default settings the max frequency is 2985. When i Watch the frequency in hwmonitor when i play the games that crashes are the games that goes upp and down in frequency very much. Even if the max is 2985 i se this goes over 3000. The games crash more often if I have streams or youtube on my secondary screen. With the stable settings i have listed i can Watch stream/ Youtube at the same time and the games are super stable. Is my card broken?
