7600 XT white LED Lights on card are always on

PXL_20240528_175913530.jpg
As shown the white LEDs on my graphics card always stay on. Everything runs fine though. I can still play my games, with no over heating or anything. They're just bright and distracting. Also I'd like to confirm that nothing is wrong with my card.

I've checked and rechecked the power cables to and from the PSU.
The PSU is a Corsair RM750e, 750W.
I've turned it on and off multiple times. this has been happening for a week.

I only have two monitors plugged in. 1440p 144hz for gaming and a 1080 dell for side stuff.

On my card the LEDs mean it is having power troubles. Mine never stayed on though. They would flash at boot and shutdown.

I suggest you open a Gigabyte eSupport ticket for your card to determine if this is normal operation or if this LED behavior indicates a fault.

I agree with @FunkZ. You should try to see what the manufacturer says about it.

Had the exact same problem as you i believed it at first to be a power supply issue but after buying a brand new psu the issue remained sent the card back to scan were i purchased it and they replaced it with a new one two weeks later now this card is doing the same thing so not sure weather i should return it again one thing i found that works sometimes to get rid of leds is shut down pc turn of switch for psu at back hold down the power switch on case for couple seconds then turn back on.

My Gigabyte RX 7600 XT Gaming OC is presenting the same issue after some months of normal usage. The card still seems to work as intended, but the LEDs above the power connectors are always on (this should indicate that the connectors are not connected, but that's not the case).

After a lot of research, this seems to be a very common issue with Gigabyte cards (AMD and Nvidia). This is not related to the PSU, it's a firmware issue. They have released firmware updates for other models, such as the RX 6600 XT Gaming OC, just to solve this problem.

I hope Gigabyte releases an update for the RX 7600 XT.

Warranty the card. I sent my card in just in case for a warrant and to get it checked and they replied that there was a hardware issue and returned a working card to me.

Thank you for answering.

I think I'm going to start the RMA process. However, since this issue is so common, I'm afraid there's a great chance that the new one will show the same problem after some time, as commented by @riscoloco83.

My card also has a very loud squeaking noise when the fans start running. After some research, this seems to be also considered "normal" for Gigabyte cards. Cheap fans.

This is the 4th Gigabyte product I bought. And it's the 4th Gigabyte product with problems. I bought it because it was cheaper than the other models, but I am very regretful.

I think I'm going to try a refund. I want my money back, not a new card. I still want a RX 7600 XT, but from a decent brand (thinking about ASUS or XFX).

Good luck on your part. Ours here might not accept refund at all. If this happens again, manufacturer has to take responsibility. It's not a cheap stuff anyway. I'm sending mine for RMA tomorrow, just got a spare card arrived for work. At least at the moment. The store told me it could take up to a month. No choice.

same here. bought it april 2024. tested with 3 different psu, silverstone 650w gold, thermaltake 750w bronze and gigabyte 650w gold. they're all same results. i browsed around and found out each brand has varies of information. when i looked back at the gigabyte's rx 7600 xt official website, it only says light will flash when there's issue with PSU and the picture shows the light is fully solid lit.

https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-R76XTGAMING-OC-16GD#kf- click on the picture

scroll down till you find power indicator right before the PSU selections.

I hope that's what it means, that the light is solid lit up and not flashing (as per picture). i already create a support tic to gigabyte asking for clarification if this is true and yet to receive any feedbacks from them.

you guys can check out these 2 as well, different version with explanation (animation) on power indicators
