While running World of Warcraft and Lord of the Rings Online, I have numerous sound issues, which causes sound to drop or the game to freeze and occasionally, severe lag.
The only thing that I can to stop it, is to do a quick Alt-Tab to another window and alt-tab back....after that, the game continues working like normal for a while. I have to continue to repeat this process throughout my gaming session.
Initially, with WoW, I would get a bunch of sound buzzing and the game totally lockup. However, after installing the latest drivers, I just get the above game "hang" until I do a quick Alt-Tab and back.
I'm using DP output to run my single monitor and HDMI output to a Sony Receiver.
I'm not sure what else to try.
