Asus Rog B660-I WIFI

EVGA 750GT SuperNOVA

Sapphire PULSE 6800XT OC

Kingston 5200mhz ddr5

So, I was playing Shadow of the Tomb Rider then when suddenly (after like 30 minutes) game started having weird glitches (white green ones on the top, lines from ceiling, weird boxes or circles) then it crashed, and I've got DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG error, now every single time I try to run any new game, instant crash when I get into the game from menu, 2d games work fine from what I understood, windows videos stream all works ok, when I tried 3d benchmark utilities, I'm getting weird glitches in dx9,10 and 11; 12 crashes instantly with error above

I've tried to check my drivers, tried reinstall amd drivers, tried different driver version, tried numerous other things like played with bios, enabled resizeable BAR.... I'm at the end of what should I try and pretty hopeless...

That's all, I hope anyone can help me what to do cause I have a bad feeling it might be a bad card.... which would be really awful cause I've been waiting to build this pc for a LONG time and I finally pulled a trigger....

Oh and I forgot to mention, I had problems with mobo - weird USB overcurrent error when I started the pc for the first time, fixed it by unplugging usb-c cable from my mobo (that goes to the front of the pc) no problems after this, hopefully it's nothing corelated

a couple things:

Make sure you are running separate power cables from your PSU to each power input on the GPU 

Make sure your BIOS is up to date

Go to Intel.com and run their driver update utility if you haven't already

Open up a command prompt as admin and type:

sfc /scannow

this will look for and attempt to repair any corrupt system files

...

Are you running any power cable extenders inside your case? .. or a PCIe riser cable to your GPU?

Are you overclocking your CPU? If so .. have you tried running stock?

XMP enabled? If so, have you tried running with it off/or auto?

How are your CPU/GPU temps?

Hey,

1. I'm running separate wires

2. I updated the bios - didn't help

3. Did that - didn't help

4. Did the scan - didn't help

5. No, nothing like that, just regular setup

6. Nope, not overclocking anything

7. Tried to enable/disable XMP, didn't help

8. Temps are fine, 6800xt max was like 78-79, cpu doesn't go over like 50-60 in games 

I've tried intel gpu and well... everything was fine, I'm kind of getting to the point of just emailing caseking and RMAing the card cause nothing seems to help...

It could be that the factory OC on the GPU isn't holding up.. you could try downclocking your GPU speeds and see if that "fixes" it 

Do you have access to another PC to test your GPU in? .. or another power supply to test your setup with?

Unfortunately I don't, I tried to downclock it with afterburner but that didn't help Dunno, I don't think its PSU problem because you see, benchmarks run fine on lets say dx9,10 or 11 but with glitches, I can see that card is 'consuming' 270 watts when loaded, with 12600k igpu no problems what so ever with anything
