Good evening.
I've been struggling for months trying to figure out why my NVME drives, in RAID 1, won't be detected as SSDs in WIN10. I followed all of the steps required when installing WIN to install the drivers, have tried reinstalling multiple times, have run the relevant WIN10 performance tests in CMD to try and force it to detect the drives as SSDs, etc. but to no avail. I have 2 ADATA SX8200 1TB drives in RAID 1 for boot and programs, and then 2 ADATA SX8200 2TB drives in RAID 1 as scratch disks (running off an NVME to PCI-e card with PCI-e bifurcation set up in the BIOS). It's worth noting that performance tests seem to show the drives performing as they should, but I can't optimise them (and I'm not going to try and run defrag on them), and booting into WIN is incredibly slow. What could be the problem?
