When booting the PC, there is a chance that after about a minute, the programs will stop working. All programs will work without any issue until after a few seconds, the graphic part of them no longer loads, such as Discord showing server names, Firefox not loading, the Start menu and Search menu stop working, the Windows notification for administrative change also does not show anything. The only way to deal with this is to hard reset the PC.
There is, however, a chance that everything would work as intended.
This started happening after updating my drivers from 24.5.1 to any newer version, no matter if I reset the graphics card to factory settings or not, or if I install Adrenaline or not. Even with the simple driver install, it still won't work, and sometimes crash. I have waited for quite a while to do this, but it doesn't seem like a fix from AMD is coming my way, so I want to resolve this.
If I remain on 24.5.1 I have no issues.
Things I have tried and did not work:
- Install 24.12.1 drivers with Adrenaline
- Install 24.12.1 drivers without Adrenaline
- Change Windows from 10 to 11 in a clean manner
- BIOS update
- Changing the Display's Free Sync off
- Changing the Display's Refresh rate to be 120Hz from 240Hz
