I just switched from a laptop with Intel to one with AMD 5600H. One thing that I missed about the Intel laptop is that Intel HD Graphics driver will create a virtual monitor when I close the laptop lid, so that remote session can work.
With my AMD laptop I have to always let the lid open, otherwise when I connect to my laptop with Chrome Remote Desktop, start menu and plenty of programs won't render properly as the laptop is not connecting to a display.
The walkaround I now have is using SpaceDESK and open an HTML5 display mirroring session. This is however not ideal as I have to start SpaceDesk and let it run on a webpage for it to work.
It would be nice if AMD adds the virtual monitor function in its display driver.
