Leave it alone, I already have that setup. I cringe every time the sound come out of my monitor instead of 5.1 surround sound because you decided that I wanted that device primary device. Why even change it if there was already a primary sound before you installed, ahem, the VIDEO driver? And, even if there's no primary if there already a sound device why mess with the setting against the user wishes?
Install the video component thank you, leave my sound as is. If I want HDMI sound, I'll select that myself. But more important why are you changing my setting to begin with?
