Why does Radeon fail to properly support DirectX 9 games? I am using a Radeon 68XT SE, but I can't play DirectX 9 games properly. One of my favorite games is Dawn of War 1: Soulstorm, but the GPU load is very low, causing frame rates to drop to 22 during battles. I have tried RSR, Chill, and Vulkan, but nothing helps.
At one point, Vulkan support during the AFMF beta gave me around 40 FPS, but now it no longer supports Vulkan, making me consider giving up on the game altogether. Do I need to buy an NVIDIA graphics card just to play DirectX 9 games? Many Korean games are still on DirectX 9. If these games weren't enjoyable, it wouldn't matter, but they are often more fun than newer ones. Even with a high-spec Radeon graphics card, the GPU load doesn't exceed 10%, resulting in poor frame rates.
Please, provide better support for DirectX 9 games.
