Why can't I use AV1 in AMD Link with a RX 7800 XT and a Pixel 7 Pro?

According to the website, my RX 7800 XT supports hardware encoding of AV1.

My Pixel 7 Pro supports AV1 (software) decoding because I'm on Android 14 and Google enforces devices to have AV1 decoding when they have Android 14.

I'm using Adrenalin 23.11.1 and the latest AMD Link App on my phone.

Why can I still not select AV1 in the driver or on the phone? It's not in the list.

Yeah, the Pixel 7 Pro is not capable of hardware-accelerated AV1 decoding.

I've switched to Sunshine and Moonlight, it's anyway more stable (and allows AV1).
