Hi! I have some question about PCem V16 run in AMD ryzen 5 1200 (MMX(+), SSE,SSE2,SSE3,SSSE3,SSE4.1,SSE4.2,SSE4A,x86-64,AMD-V,AES,AVX,AVX2,FMA3,SHA) with 8GB DDR4 2666mhz ram, and a 120GB kingstone SSD
when I run PCem V16 simulate Intel Pentium MMX 233Mhz, OS:Windows 3.1/95/98/ME/NT3.0/3.1/4.0/5.0 RAM: 64MB Hard Drive: 520MB to 4GB (FAT16/FAT32) when booting to OS it sounds stuttering? Because CPU Intructions not support? or not compalable Intel Pentium MMX CPU because different CPU vender?

Any reason you're using v16 and not v17?
The sound is stuttering because the emulation speed is dropping below 100%, because that ryzen's single core performance isn't high enough to handle a pentium 233. It has nothing to do with instructions or CPU brand.
Search the forum. There are a lot of performance related threads that would be of help.
Windows 9x does heavy access when it boots and that's a bottleneck to the emulation when it does and it happens to everybody.
Does it means AMD CPU and GPU is not Good enought for running an simulate program to emulate an Windows 98 enviroment,
But it have (MMX(+), SSE,SSE2,SSE3,SSSE3,SSE4.1,SSE4.2,SSE4A,x86-64,AMD-V,AES,AVX,AVX2,FMA3,SHA) but not compilable to even Intel Pentium MMX 233Mhz
I think this is a very old and fundamental problem. Is the AMD CPU instruction set used not 100% compatible with the semi-finished product developed on the compatible Intel SSE, MMX, AVX instruction set? since Windows98 (Year 1998) I use AMD Althon CPU Always complain why the computer is always crashing and unstable until Microsoft's engineer made a CPU patch update for Windows. or even Windows XP AMD althon 64 X2 proccessor need an Dual Core Patch update for First AMD64 instruction.
May I ask whether ARM64 needs to go through the update revolution and transfer of the instruction set again?
