The bootable USB to install Windows requires drivers

I am trying to install Windows 11 on my machine.

I've created the bootable USB and when I boot from it I follow the steps to install Windows. I cannot proceed because the installer requires some drivers. But it does not specify what i needs them for!

After reading around the internet, I found out that the most common scenario is caused by the missing Intel's IRST drivers. Well, I'm on AMD machine, but I suppose the issue is the same just for AMD.

So off I went to download the "drivers" from AMD's website that I found on this page: https://www.amd.com/en/support/download/drivers.html; which allows me to download some .exe application.

That .exe application supposedly allows me to run some diagnostics on my machine and then will download the drivers relevant to my hardware for me. Which is great! But I cannot run any .exe application due to the fact that I do not have Windows installed.

Where do I find those drivers without having to run the .exe app?

What part of the installation does it ask for drivers? Is it looking for a drive to install Windows to and can't find it? Do you have a SATA drive or an NVMe drive? Is your BIOS set to UEFI mode with CSM disabled? Do you have TPM enabled?

CSM should be disabled. Make sure AHCI not RAID is set. If you have changed any other BIOS settings it's probably best to Load Optimized Defaults.

If that doesn't fix it then there's something wrong with the Win11 boot media. Create a new one or try Win10 and upgrade.

I try Win 10 but my driver is wrong because is .exe not from thumb drive

You do not need AMD drivers to install Windows 10/11 to a SATA or NVMe drive in AHCI mode. You DO need to install RAID drivers if you have created a RAID array in BIOS and are trying to install Windows to a RAID array.
