System32/AMD/MmdDumps takes up almost 40GB

Im trying to free up some space on my C drive where the OS is located, scanning the drive with TreeSize showed me that System32/AMD/MmdDumps takes up almost 40GB, is it safe to delete files from there, is it possible to make it smaller and what does this folder do?

I believe it's from amd crash defender service, you can delete them.
