hello
i tried to overclock my ryzen 5 1600 on a gigabyte GA AB350 GAMING 3 ( last bios ) with ryzen master
i kept the original voltage and set to 3,6 ghz but when restarted it was locked a 3,4 ghz ans impossible to reset the stock parameters ( 3,2 ghz )
it 's impossible to reset my proc to default !!!
when i set it to default in bios and start windows i have always ryzen master parameters ( 3,4 ghz ) !!!!
in ryzen master it's impossible now to set other parameters and when i use the reset options it ask to restart windows
windows restart but nothing happens...ryzen master don't go back to stock settings ( always 3,4 ghz )
i tried a clear CMOS : it doesn't work
i tried to reflash my bios : it doesn't work !
i tried to reinstall windows on an other HD : it doesn't work !
i"m very surprised...RYZEN MASTER IS A BUGGY SOFT
what can i do ? buy another mobo or another PROCESSOR
how can it be possible ?
i advice not to use ryzen master, only overclock by bios !!!
Solved! Go to Solution.
You shouldmt need another mobo to fix your current build. How well do you know you way round OC & things like that as to me its not your mobo somethings been missed or taken the wrong step causing this issue.New Itels are worse than Ryzen had a few m8s ditching them going Ryzen 1 has encountered this tho was told. He took a diffrent approach from another perspective to find was a setting over looked.
Reinstall windows to revert to stock parameters.
it didn't work for me
the last windows 10 version update ( 1903 ) solved the problem

AMD is great but unfortunatly ryzen master no...don't use ryzen master and
overclock your cpus by bios settings, it works great

Re: RYZEN MASTER IMPOSSIBLE TO RESTORE STOCK PARAMETERS in *Drivers &

Can somebody help me, i tried to overclock my RAM using RYZEN MASTER..my pc wont boot, tried resetting CMOS (removing battery and put a cap in the jumper..stil same problem exist..any advice please.
It happened to me also. Overclocked 3000mhz RAM to 3400mhz with Ryzen Master but could not reboot to display, no display. Also did taking out battery and cmos reset didnot help. Sometimes I could go into BIOS and manually try to adjust memory multiplier from 34 to 30, the frequency will still show 3408. Did multiple time whenever I could go into BIOS but memory frequency multiplier still 34 and frequency still 3408. Disabled the xmp and system booted, uninstalled Ryzen Master immediately. Rebooted the system into BIOS selecting XMP and the memory frequency will show 3408 again. saved settings and rebooted but the same issue started. Eventually , after unlimited hard reboots BIOS posted "Last BIOS settings didnot load correctly and gave option to Load optimised defaults and reboot. Did that and system booted ok. Now I am afraid to turn on xmp profile again!!. I think somehow Ryzen Master is messing up with BIOS settings directly and saving config somehow in RAMS (I know RAMS are volatile memory but its just anoteh hardware!!). So keep on trying to go to bios and select Load optimised defaults. Also many times system would hang in BIOS or hang at post due to unstable RAM configured at 3408 mhz, thats whi I was not able to load optimised defaults manually.
I was able to fix this. Had the same problem. A clean windows installation fixed it, but I had to delete every partition related to the drive, even the system partitions. So like my drive was drive 0, and I had to delete every drive associated with drive 0, then just created a new partition and reinstalled windows. Worked like a charm. Never using that dam program again. I overclocked manually in the bios. Good riddance!!!
I had the same problem, what i did was:
1 Used "reset" profile button in Ryzen master
2 Rebooted
3 Uninstall all of AMD drivers and removed all of AMD maps and leftovers in C:
4 Used CCleaner -> Registry Clean and removed all AMD register keys
5 Reboot again
6 downloaded and installed Ryzen master
7 Reboot and it worked, profiles back to factory settings.
I think Ryzen Master is leaving som crap in the regestry or leftover files from the uninstall.
I know this is an old thread but just for reference cause I seem to have the easiest fix.lol. I got stuck in this problem too and the solution for me was in the bios.
Like i mistakenly thought that by resetting, cmos method the problem cant be with the bios right...but somehow the wrong base clock for cpu persist in bios. For me atleast. It was on 3900mhz in bios. And I didnt oc in bios...only disabled some settings that got in the way of overclock (according to some guide)
Anyway changed it back to stock there in bios changed voltage back to auto (again I didtn touch these settings in bios, somehow they looped back from ryzenmaster) first and from then everything was normal again, back to stock. Ryzen master was acting normal.
