Hello,
Since I changed my hardware for AM5 platform I have issues with my PCIe sound card. The latest BIOS based on AGESA 1.0.0.7 c didnt help.
Creative wasnt really useful . It appears that Creative /AMD issues exist for ages.
Does someone have info from AMD this is going to be solved ?
many thanks
Could you describe the issue?
I can : the card is functionnal for 3 days, then the card is detected by Windows (10 pro 22H2) but in Error code 10. Sometime I need to go into the device manager to delete the card and next boot it's okay. Sometime it's harder and i have to do many different things to have the Error code 10 to disappear .
And it's a cycle. Between the card perfroms really good.
I lent the card to an office mate using Intel Plafrom for 15 days now , and everyday he keeps telling me the card is working well.
I read on google that the issue exists since AM4.
Is there an automatic update setting on Windows overwriting the previous drivers?
I can't say for AM5 but I had a SoundBlaster card on my previous 2700X on a B450 board with no issues. I discarded it because I'm now a simple headphone user with external DAC.
Which slot are you trying?
I used both of the available slots of my gigabyte B650 aorust elite. And I used both windows and creative driver...
All was checked . I tested tons of different tweaks . Card was ok on my previous system , still ok on another one, just not compatible with AMD, as many other users are reporting.
Which model was your soundblaster? AE like mine?
