Hi all,

I frequently get Application Errors out of Radeonsoftware.exe. See Below Table.

My Version is 21.4.1. 

I usually notice this, after Exiting a game. In the tray, the "Red Icon" got replicated like 5times. When I hover over them, they all disappear and I have to Start Radeon Software manually again. I then check the Application Protocols under Computer-Management just to find this Application Error over and over again.

It does not affect Gaming or Performance, it seems.

My System Components. And please mind that this is a completely new System / Fresh Win10 Install. I installed Win10 a second time already, same Picture.

R9 5900X, RX 6700XT Powercolor Red Devil, Crucial Ballistix 32GB-3600; X570 Tomahawk Wifi

Please Advice? Or is my Graphics Card defect?

I get this behavior recently when I just press Win+L for locking the screen. When logging back in I got another Radeon Software Icon and the Application Error Message. Nice.

DDU didnt help- Windows Fresh Install didnt help. 

Next Card will definitely be from Team Green. Tired of being Beta-Tester all the time.

You're having the same issues as many with the latest drivers. Try DDU, and install drivers from versions 20 (for example, 20.11.3). If the problem disappears, please tell us.

Hi,

I got the exact same issue after the last driver update but on COD Warzone is worst the pc goes in black screen followed by reboot ( also got heavy coil whine that did not happen before the update).

I followed some online forms with troubleshooting , like disable hardware acceleration ecc same problem .

all the components are running with no overclock .

I removed the last driver 21.4.1 and installed the 21.3.1 hopefully will solve the problem.

PC spec:

CPU ryzen 5 3600 , 6700xt hellhound, 16gb hyperx 3200mhz, 600W psu.

Hi again,

After a DDU i install the drivers version 21.3.1 my issue is gone .

I had no driver crash or games after this  , and also the coil whine went away almost for 90% 

( gaming sessions 6-10 hours  in cod with high setting 1440p 144mhz)

I guess is only the driver version the issue also the 21.4.1 does not work on 6700xt with SAM enabled.

Thanks for the Update! Glad to hear that the old driver resolved this issue for you

My Card does have Coil Whine too. I will also give this a tray. Altough not a huge fan of using "older" drivers.
