I recently bought a whole new PC and I'm getting constant crashes. At first I thought Path of Exile 2 is the source of problems because there was a massive problem with multi-threading etc., eventually they patched it and i was still getting crashes, decided to test it in Diablo 4 and same exact thing is happening:
- Game runs perfectly fine. No FPS drops, no performance problems etc. but out of sudden screen goes black, I hear the buzzing noice and then system is rebooting. There is still no signal from graphic card, I have to restart PC manually and then it works again. This can happen once in a day or 2-3 times in less than 2 hours, it's pretty random.
I checked reliability history out of curiosity and noticed every time this happens there are AMD errors leading to various driver files, for example:
Error name: BEX64
C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\FileRepository\u0412654.inf_amd64_535557c5691b2f00\B412641\atieclxx.exe
I guess there is something wrong with the drivers? This is what I've tried so far:
- uninstalling 24h2 Windows update
- installing newest Adrenaline (February 2025)
- uninstalling Adrenaline in DDU and reinstalling
- installing drivers without Adrenaline
No difference, nothing helped. I found couple of threads with similar problem, for example:
Nothing helped either. Is there something I could try? Or the card is faulty?
