First of all my setup:
Ryzen 5 2600x
RX 6600
B450M
2x8 GB ram
650W PS
So, I'll write this topic about a certain game (Sons of the forest) but I also had these kind of crashes in other games, mostly in games with higher requirements.
I've been playing sons of the forest with a friend, we even played more than 6 hours without stopping and I had no problem at all. But at the end game, I keep crashing at a certain point, I'd not say at the same spot, but out of 4 tries, 3 happened at the same spot. (That's why I don't think it would be my PS - even tho it could be ofc) I checked my Event Log - either I'm too dumb to find anything, but there's nothing.
I've updated my BIOS, tried everything, yet it keeps crashing.
Games that used (maybe still do) crash:
Cyberpunk
Sons of the forest
NFS Unbound - sometimes it did crash, something it worked perfectly fine.
And I'd say only these 3. ( I can't remember any other)
Games that I played (play) with without crashes:
Valorant
LoL
Fifa 23
RDR 2
Elden Ring
And even Sons of the forest, since as I said, we played many many hours without any crashes.
So at this point, I just have no idea what's going on, some games run perfectly fine without any problems, some just go full nuts and it is pretty annoying.
I've tried different drivers, did not help, so if you have any ideas, please let me know.
