It is funny. I had to do the same thing. I want having too many issues, but my xfx card was complaining a few weeks back. Kept pinning the gpu ram frequency to 100% despite no gpu activity, even system idle. SOmetimes causing the pc to randomly restart. I checked event viewer and no errors. I had the amd driver auto install gpu updates at that time. Downgraded back to the same driver. No issues now, and the driver doesnt even acknowledge there is a newer driver anymore. Which is funny considering the driver is still set to auto update.
