I'm still getting daily crashes, are there any fixes yet?
Unfortunately no, the black screen error still occurs ...; /
Hi,
what I can suggest is to try that:
open the adrenalin software, go under "performance", then "tuning".
Then set "tuning control" on manual, Enable GPU Tuning , then "Fine tuning control"
at this point set P3 state freq to 1900 and voltage to 1050.
Click on "Apply Changes" on the top right and play games you had crash if there is a better stability.
Please let me know
Alan
Its not much description we get of the problem.
But crashing can be several reasons for.
You can go into windows logbook and find more info by right clicking the windows start icon and selecting logbook.
next look under administrative events
scroll down the list and look for a red X or red triangle
click on it and see what the error is. ( example does it say critical kernel power )
If it does try this wich have made my own pc able to play games ( els it crash every 5-15-30 min in games )
1). restart computer and go into bios
2). Press F2 and bios advanced mode should start. ( or select bios advanced mode somehow )
3). find where it say CPU Vcore AUTO... Change Auto to 1.375volt
4). exit bios and save.
Also you can go into windows power plan and edit it.. Select that the PCIE graphics card can never turn off power/sleep
Turn off that harddrives can sleep
Turn off that computer can go into hybernation or sleep mode. ( set to 0 )
Personaly i had crashes since i bought new hardware in december and i think my cpu is a tiny bit deffective wich result in system crahes.. but the above have made it usable..
New cpu's are first expected to be in stores in April or later so i cant RMA the cpu until then.
Nope, they are introducting new problems with each Adrenalin revision.
I constantly get black screens and "driver timeout" errors.
have you tried to underclock - undervolt the P3 State as I said ?
If you have a custom rx 5700 xt , it's overclocked by default.
Why should I do that? It was "working fine" for more than a year, then suddenly after new Adrenalin release I'm getting constant driver timeout errors.
