I have an MSI Alpha 17 A4DEK with an AMD Ryzen 7 4800H (8 Cores) with Radeon Graphics RX 5600M. I’ve only had this laptop for about 2 years and my GPU has stopped working.
In the device manager it says that my RX 5600M has encountered a problem (code 43) and I’ve done everything from reinstalling my drivers to reinstalling windows and everything else I could find on the issue, but nothing seems to work.
I don’t know exactly when it stopped working, but I know it happened some time after I replaced my SSD. The SSD my laptop came with, ADATA Swordfish, was terrible. It was constantly at 100% disk usage, it crashed my laptop on multiple occasions, and sometimes wouldn’t boot windows and didn’t show up in the BIOS.
After I got a new SSD, everything seemed to work fine. Then at some point between then and now, the RX 5600m stopped working. If anyone knows why this happened and a possible cause, please let me know.
