I found that after 2019-02 the new driver dropped resolution to 1920 X 1080. Or did a full Windows update. And I lost 2560 X 1440.
I solved it by purchasing a DisplayPort cable, and connecting it end to end, from card to monitor. DisplayPort connections on both end. Older monitors, support higher resolutions better via DisplayPort, or DVI-DL (dual link).
My monitor U2713HM supported 2560 X 1440 on Display port, but lower res on HDMI. I had HDMI on the card, and a displayport adapter (hdmi to displayport) on the monitor. For whatever reason the new driver didn't support this.
