running javaw (minecraft) on high performance crashes minecraft , i think its the graphics card

i have an rx550 4gb i7 8700k and an 8gb ram and running javaw which is responsible for the graphics of minecraft crashes before it even starts which is weird because i have done this last year and it was fine , i think one of the driver updates did it , any solutions ?

It's AMDs OpenGL drivers. They just don't work and they probably won't fix it since it's been like that for years.

You could try running it in windowed mode and switch to fullscreen once it's loaded.
