Everything related to recording, including replays just doesn't work in AMD software.Whenever i press the start recording button loading icon appers next to the cursor for a split second and nothing else.
I already restored factory settings and reinstalled the software.
Any ideas?

Would be nice to know if you have a laptop or Desktop that you are talking about. Also your PC information such as Make & Model of your hardware and Windows & AMD Driver versions.

Also by "Recording" are you talking about AMD Relive feature?

Sorry for a late reply, I use a desktop, with windows 11 and my GPU is Rx 580.

I'm not sure about it being  AMD ReLive, at least it's not labeled as such, it's just the recording tab in the AMD Adrenalin software.

I've encountered a similar issue myself. Last month, I posted asking them to address this problem in the next update. However, the latest update still hasn't resolved the issue.

it's so frustrating it was working absolutely fine a few months before until it just stopped working

Same problem, I have Asus TUF Gaming A16 Advantage Edition with RX7600S and Ryzen 7 7435HS, drivers 24.12.1
and Windows 11.
I also have PC with RX570 and Ryzen 5 3500 and on PC recording and replays are working completlely fine.
Tried factory reset of AMD, checked all settings in Adrenalin Software and Windows settings.
I was trying to do something with regedit and nothing worked. 
I remember having same issue on PC but there regedit helped and on PC I didnt have that issue ever again.
Kinda sad that recording is not working on my laptop...
