Record & Stream feature doesn't show up in radeon software

I use Ryzen 5 5600h and Radeon Rx5500m on windows 11 and whenever I install radeon software the feature to record isn't there. I really want to use the feature which works like nvidia shadowplay but nothing seems to work. How do i enable recording?

Please send full hardware setup of your build and which version of windows 11 you are running this will help us narrow down the issue.

As for me I'm on Windows 10 Pro 64 Version 21H2 and found that Microsoft will overwrite AMD display drivers and software through windows update causing problems similar to what you are experiencing.

The only way many of us have found to stop this is by a Group Policy Editor or Registry Editor.

Try google searching. How to block windows 11 from updating AMD display drivers via Regedit or Group Policy Edit.

If you do find a Regedit that works you will have to do a factory reset install of your GPU drivers/adrenaline software to get that recording software back.

Unfortunately Microsoft is being a real lazy pain in a lot of our backsides.

I have a laptop with ryzen 5 and radeon rx5500m and this is the windows 11 version
I dont know if its microsoft or not but the thing is whenever i download radeon software the recording feature is never there, ive installed it probably 3-4 times. Could it be that it isnt available in Windows 11?

Laptops do not have that feature. Only desktop graphics cards.
