I downloaded AMD Adrenalin about 6 or 9 months ago. It has run fine, but I did not see much if any improvement in performance, except that my GPU would overheat. After a while, I disabled all the functions.
I recently (3-4 weeks ago) received notice from AMD that there were driver updates available. I downloaded the installer and let it determine what drivers my PC needed. The same day I began to have random freezes with no response from the mouse or keyboard. Power off was the only fix.
After a few days of this annoyance, I uninstalled Adrenalin without issue.
However the "Freeze Issue" has continued. I was considering using the "AMD Cleanup Utility" to remove the driver files, but I read some support requests here that said they were having difficulty finding and installing the previous drivers.
Knowing nothing about installing or finding drivers, I thought I would ask for some advice and guidance here.
