I have the 6700xt, and I play alot of halo infinite. I THOUGHT with the last patch I was using RSR and freesync at once, but with the new patch I started getting freesync flickering again. I booted to safemode and used ddu and reinstalled my screen and gpu drivers, but it did not fix it. I realised that I can't have Virtual super resolution on AND have freesync on at the same time in driver. SO I have a question: CAN you have rsr and freesync premium on at the same time (with the borderless fullscreen option)? Could you ever? I ask because now that I have freesync off and variable refresh rate in windows on instead, I no longer get screen tearing like I used to when I thought I had freesync on, and to top it all off the Image looks a bit crisper too. Am I imagining that? What's going on? I was getting a few frames higher generally with the last patch/options on, so I'd ideally like to get freesync finally working. The way the screen was tearing, I don't think it was.
My montior is PHL 275M8.
