After upgrading from 17.9.3 crimson drivers to the 17.12.2 adrenalin driver my monitor immediately switches to 1920x1080 and the native 2560x1440 option is gone from display settings. The 1920x1200 option that is usually there is also gone. 1920x1080 is the highest resolution found even in the "List all Modes" menu in display adapter properties. Restarting doesn't fix the issue. Rolling back to 17.9.3 immediately sets the monitor back to the native 2560x1440. I have tested 17.12.1 and 17.11.4 and they also remove the 2560x1440 option. The monitor only has dual-link DVI and VGA inputs. I am currently using this HDMI to DVI cable as my DVI to DVI cable broke. I will try to get another one and see if I can get 2560x1440 on the newer drivers but I don't see why the HDMI to dual-link DVI would suddenly stop working after a driver update.
