my AMD software says that my drivers are 23.40.02 and i cant update why is that?

Post what graphics card you have or processor, it may be legacy and no longer supported.

You may need to use AMD Cleanup Utility to remove those drivers, in order to update to the most recent. Also Windows has a nasty habit of overwriting the drivers from AMD with drivers that do not function as they should.

Just windows updated your drivers and now adrenaline is showing this version and there is nothing you can do about it , just reinstall the drivers again from the AMD website .
In my opinion this is some kind of problem from either amd or microsoft steep , on nvidia i dont have this problem .
