My Windows 11 install got messed up and had to be reinstalled.
At this time AMD auto detect was always being used to install drivers but it is now not available.
Instead I downloaded the chip-set and video drivers manually from the AMD website.
Since then no matter what it seems the host OS (Windows) and Linux guests virtual machines from workstation pro or Hyper-V have GPU issues.
On the virtual machines, graphical glitches as terminal being dragged over the web browser in the virtual machine you would see slow moving frames that can cause the browser to be unstable and then the virtual machine would lock up and crash. Drag and drop between guest and host is not working as well.
Tried creating new virtual machines with new image/clean images and other suggested solutions (turning on and turning off Hyper-V, turning off core isolation, etc.) but the issues still exist.
On the Windows host OS, sometimes videos on YouTube are flickering regardless of browsers or plugins.
I am now currently on fresh Windows 10 running the latest manually downloaded GPU and chip-set drivers from AMD website and the same issue still occurs.
