Yesterday I've installed my new AMD RX 7900 XT GPU (founders edition from PowerColor).
My PC setup is a bit old: Asus ROG STRIX H370-I Gaming M/B, Intel Core i5 9400, 16GB DDR4.
My previous card was working perfectly, an RX 6950 XT.
After intalling the AMD adrenalin drivers in my new setup my onboard digital output (realtek driver) disappeard.
In my old setup I had two sound outputs: HDMI output connected on my LG OLED C1 TV and Digital (SPDIF output) conneted to my Maranz A/V receiver by an optical wire. Both outputs were working perfectly. Now there's only HDMI (AMD HD audio driver).
I tried reinstalling realtek drivers with no effect. It's like my motherboard digital output disappeard.
In my Device Manager in windows 11 (latest update) shows a device not working properly, the AMD HD audio device. When I dissabled my on board HD audio the previous indication was fixed.
Have your team met something familiar in the past? Do you have any suggestions how to fix it?
Thank you.
