Minecraft Java crash possibly related to OpenGL driver issue

I've been having a problem with Minecraft 1.21, after playing for some time, not a specific amount time and on either my single player world or on my server, my game will freeze and then close. There's no crash error popup or anything.

After talking to some people on the FDB Discord it apparently isn't related to any mods I'm using, but rather it's a problem with Java, and I think a OpenGL dll.

My PC has a 6750XT and a 5700X, I just did a full reinstall of the GPU drivers (uninstalled Adrenalin, ran DDU, then installed the newest full version of Adrenalin 24.7.1), tested again to see if the game would close again and after some time it did.

I just copied the beginning of the hs_err_pid12932.log, for some reason I can't upload the .log or .txt file. If anyone knows of a way of uploading the .log here I'll do it.

Any help is appreciated.

I don't have a solution but I am getting the same error. Following for updates. I am playing with a modpack BetterMC for 1.20.1 and added the Distant Horizons mod.

So i've got the same issue with 24.7.1 , i've downgrade my drivers to 24.5.1 and still have the issue. It seems this issue was pressent 1 year ago and get fixed in 23.8.1 (see this post https://community.amd.com/t5/opengl-vulkan/opengl-problem-maybe-with-atio6axx-dll/td-p/607117)

I'll try to downgrade to this version and go up and up until it crashes to see if there is a version that works not dated from 1 year ago. If there is no solution I'll start to wonder if changing to NVIDIA graphic card isn't the solution after all. AMD drivers are always crashing for no reasons since years and years and fixes seems to get unfixed.
