Hey, I’m having some issues with my AMD display driver since yesterday. I was just scrolling through YouTube when a pop-up appeared saying something like “The AMD display driver has crashed.” To investigate, I tried opening AMD Software: Adrenaline Edition from the system tray, but it wouldn’t open. Instead, it showed a message saying “The version of AMD Software that you have launched is not compatible with your currently installed AMD graphics driver.”
Next, I checked the Device Manager, and I saw an exclamation mark on the AMD Radeon Graphics driver. I started troubleshooting by reinstalling the latest version of the AMD software, as well as trying a downgraded version, but neither worked. I also did a clean install of the AMD Radeon Graphics driver by using DDU and the AMD Cleanup Utility to fully wipe the display drivers, but the issue persists.
When I check the status of the AMD Radeon Graphics driver, it says “Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43).” The strange thing is that I’m not experiencing any issues running my PC since I have a dedicated NVIDIA GPU, and everything else seems to be running fine. Up until yesterday, both drivers were installed and working without any problems. Also, in my Task Manager, only GPU0 shows up now—previously, I had both GPU0 and GPU1.
Any suggestions on how to fix this?
