Issues After Downgrading Drivers

Hi everyone,

I downloaded the beta drivers for AFMF2 when they became available, but I started encountering issues with certain games not launching due to the beta shaders. In an effort to resolve this, I decided to downgrade my drivers.

After downgrading, I launched Fortnite and noticed it crashed constantly. I thought it might be an isolated incident, but then I tried other games and found that Battlefield V wouldn’t even launch.

I suspected my drivers were corrupted, so I used DDU to remove them and then performed a clean reinstall. Unfortunately, the issues persist.

I’m really not sure what to do next and would appreciate any advice or troubleshooting steps you might have. Has anyone else faced similar problems after switching back from beta drivers? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

Run SFC and/or DISM commands to check/repair system files.

Download the AMD Cleanup Utility https://www.amd.com/en/resources/support-articles/faqs/GPU-601.html

Download and save the latest amd driver.

Use the cleanup utility, then install the new drivers/software.
