Hello,

I am using an Sapphire HD 7970 and since I updated my drivers to Adrenaline Edition I get strange artifacts in Lightroom only when I use the crop tool. I have to mention that currently I am using 18.1.1 version.

I have the same problem. I´m using Lightroom 6 and the latest Adrenalin driver Version 18.8.1
Is there a solution ?

I see four solutions:

1. Deactivate hardware acceleration in Lightroom (which makes editing images pretty slow)

2. Update to Lightroom CC (I tested it with 18.6 on my Fury X and it worked without that issue)

3. Downgrade the AMD driver to a pre-Adrenalin Edition (didn't tested that, but I had no issues before mid 2017)

4. Thank AMD for their great support (aka none) and get an NVidia card

Thank you. Yes, it works after turning off the GPU acceleration.

 My question is " If we are working without GPU support Why spend around 600$ for AMD GPU?" Isn't this an unnecessary waste of money and Power?

Ya. You are right My old GT NVidia GPU still working well with Lightroom. 

Why don't AMD Find the solution for this issue?
