I recently upgraded to the recommended latest patch for my card, the ATI 7770. Minimize game screen goes to monochrome

I recently upgraded to the recommended latest patch for my card, the ATI 7770. Since the update, when i minimize to the taskbar, and when i maximize it, the game window goes to monochrome for a number of seconds. After a number of seconds the color returns to normal. This did not occur before I updated, before I was using a 17.x driver version. Is this a known thing?

I understand the need for the information in your link if I was requesting assistance with my issue. But I am just interested in seeing if anyone else has had or reported this issue.
