Hello, I have a gateway GTWN15.6-4pr which has an integrated AMD Radeon (TM) Vega 8. It was working pretty good for what it is until my attached screen broke. I can plug in an external monitor, it works either in safe mode or with the graphics driver disabled. Some of the programs I would like to use require some GPU, where even virtual GPU will work. However, with only being able to operate my monitor with its drivers or generic drivers, these programs won't run or work properly. Things I have tried, rolling back and updating drivers, automatically detecting driver and updating, plugging the monitor in after starting the computer hoping for an automatic detection with the AMD driver. Disabled driver, then restarting, restarting in safe mode and lowering resolution. Recovery restore. Since I needed to already, a clean install of windows 11 home, a clean install of win 11, which it worked for about a minute or two immediately afterwards. Then it went black and again i boot into safe mode, 1disable driver, and could boot normal and se the monitor, just not the driver. What can I do, don't know, or am overlooking? Or any suggestions besides the obvious of purchasing a different laptop.
