Hello,
I am confused on how can I do a clean install of AMD drivers for my laptop, since its processor and GPU both are from AMD.
AMD stopped supporting iGPU of my processor (i.e., Ryzen 5 5800H), so the latest drivers for my dGPU are not installed for my iGPU.
So, right now, I have to do it like this-
1. Run AMD Tool/DDU Tool to remove all AMD Drivers.
2. Install the last supported version (i.e., v23.9.3) for my iGPU, which also installs the drivers for my dGPU. And then install latest drivers for my dGPU.
So, what I want to know is... is there any possibility to do a proper clean installation for both iGPU and dGPU now? I cannot stop AMD driver install utility from installing the old drivers for dGPU, so I cannot do a perfect clean installation.
And yes, I have been having random freezes since last few updates. That's why I wanted to do a clean install.
For now, I am sticking with the old version which works well and supports both.

Ok, you mentioned Ryzen 5 but the 5800H is actually Ryzen 7 as it's an 8 core Cezanne APU.
Went to AMD's driver page under Processors with graphics, AMD Ryzen Processors, Ryzen 7 Mobile with Radeon graphics, Ryzen 7 5800H
And it lists 24.1.1 as the most recent supported Adrenalin package. So I'm not sure why the installer would prompt you to AMD's page to download the same supported version?
There is of course the blurb about laptops and mobiles recommending the manufacturer's drivers, and it's possible there would be some functionality loss using AMD's Adrenalin package such as brightness control, etc. but I would think the driver should still work.
The Ryzen 5 5800H launch date was just 3 years ago and Vega 8 is still supported in Adrenalin 24.1.1
I am also using 24.1.1 with Vega 11 in a 3400G for my HTPC, and that APU is even 2 years older than your processor.
Sadly, it is different in case of laptop iGPUs. AMD wants the laptop manufacturers to take responsibility for it.
And if I try to install drivers, it won't install it for iGPU. You can see how it looks in my older thread.

No idea about it. I asked my friend who got a laptop having Ryzen 9 5900H and he is having the same issue.
I am sorry. It was just dumb me. Somehow, I was constantly trying the one for RDNA. ._. Thanks for the help and sorry for wasting your time!
No problem, good to hear you got it updated!
Yup mobile IGP have been GCN5 Vega graphics from 2017 up through 2022, and even some of the 2023 processors like the 7x30 series.
