High idle power usage and temperatures

Hello,

I have a 7900 XTX and use 3 monitors (I'm sure you know where this is going..)

My monitors are as follows:

MAG274QRF-QD 2560 X 1440 165Hz DisplayPort
LC27G5xT 2560 X 1440 120Hz DisplayPort
LC27G5xT 2560 X 1440 120Hz DisplayPort

So my VRAM clocks are always at 2500, the card is drawing 100W+ and idles at 60*C with fans always spinning, this is very annoying and wasteful. Coming from Nvidia I'm used to my old 3070 idling at around 30W so they managed to work around the issue somehow.

I can fix this my creating custom display profiles for my monitors to have them match blanking times like so:

MAG274QRF-QD 2560 X 1440 144Hz DisplayPort
LC27G5xT 2560 X 1440 144Hz DisplayPort
LC27G5xT 2560 X 1440 144Hz DisplayPort

But there are many issues with this, MAG274QRF-QD does not support 144Hz out of the box and keeps losing DP signal at times, running at refresh rate the panel was not tuned for worsens ghosting, also I had to disable FreeSync (AdaptiveSync) as the other monitors don't support it.

LC27G5xT are not very happy running at 144Hz either, the screen flickers at times, those are cheap crap panels from Samsung not surprised.

So I can either deal with 100W+ at idle or drop all the way down to 120Hz without FreeSync...

Is there anything the dev team can do to account for such configuration in the drivers?
