Hello,
Apologies for my naivety. I have been given a desktop PC (my first) from a friend who has upgraded, he previously used this unit for flight simulation across three monitors. These monitors were connected Via HDMI, DP & Firewire and so we know these ports should work. I don't know for sure but I think he was previously using the EyeFinity Multi Display Approach. I should also point out that I have completed a factory reset on this machine since recieving it, although I believe I've set everything up as required.
I have connected my main display via DP and this works well. However when I try to connect the second display via HDMI, the screen shows "No Signal" for a moment, before turning off. This also happens to any other monitor I try to connect via HDMI on this machine, including the main one that is currently working with a DP connection. I have connected the second display to another machine via HDMI (same cable & different) and it works well, so this seems to push out the possibility that it could be cable/monitor related.
Also, when I connect the second monitor via HDMI (Only available port on monitor), it is recognised within Windows Display Settings and shows 2 Displays. Oddly, this means I can drag items across to the second display that I can't see.
I have tried to adjust some settings within AMD Catalyst Control Centre, inlcuding setting everything to default values, however nothing has worked.
Here is the GPU-Z Screen Grab;
Here is the Catalyst Control Centre Screen Grab - Interestingly, the second display shows "27N5C, DFP, HDMI - Disabled" when you hover over it;
Here is the Windows Monitor Settings For the working DP connected Display;
Here is the Windows Monitor Settings for the second HDMI connected display;
How can I resolve this issue?
