Graphics card not displaying to monitor

Before I begin, I know that there have been a few posts about very similar issues before. I’m writing now because I’ve tried a mix of solutions presented in those issues and none of them have solved the issue.

Spec list:

- CPU: Ryzen 5 3600

- GPU: Radeon RX 6600XT

- Motherboard: MSI B550 Gaming Edge Wifi

- Monitor: Acer HA220Q

Other parts available upon request

My RX 6600XT has been giving me a lot of trouble lately; I tries to enable AMD SAM in my BIOS, only to discover an “input not supported” message on my monitor. Plugged it into a TV, works fine. I have an old NVidia card that displays the BIOS just fine on my monitor.
So, my 6600XT does not display my BIOS on my monitor, period. Some of my troubleshooting steps have caused it to not display Windows, and I fixed that by swapping in and out my NVidia GPU. Another thing, whenever I startup my computer, I get an “input not supported” message and then I can see it boot to windows.

Here’s what I’ve done to troubleshoot (none of this has solved it):

- Restart my computer (gotta start somewhere)

- Update BIOS / VGA / Chipset drivers

- Update monitor drivers

- Swapping graphics cards (did nothing to fix the BIOS problem but fixes Windows not displaying)

- Change display settings (I just checked and saw it was at 1080p, instructions I read weren’t clear on what else to do. I’m open to exploring this again as I wasn’t sure what I was doing there.

These troubleshooting steps caused issues:

- Update Radeon software & driver (Would not display Windows until I swapped in and out my NVidia card)

(This step also broke the software entirely and I had to re-install it from AMD’s website)

I have not tried these steps yet:

- Clearing CMOS, because I don’t want to reset my BIOS preferences unless I need to

- Using DDU to clean out my AMD drivers and re-install them

- Going through display settings more thoroughly, because like I said before I need some guidance

If there is anything else I should try first, I’d love to hear it. Any help I can get would be greatly appreciated. If you need more information, I’ll be happy to provide it.

(EDIT: I have tried uninstalling the Radeon Software & drivers (I had to use the NVidia card to do that), and I re-installed the driver only using AMD’s software installer. I still get Input Not Supported when in BIOS and before the Windows login screen appears. So no luck there.)
