Freshly Built PC Doesn't Start

I just build my PC with the motherboard stated:

  • MB Gigabyte B650M D3HP AM5 DDR5 7600 MHz
  • Ryzen 5 8600g
  • DIMM 16GB DDR5 6000 MHz Kingston Fury Renegade CL32
  • SSD M.2 Kingston NV2 NVMe 250GB PCIe 4.0 x4 3000/1300 MBs
  • PSU 800W Matrix 20+4pin, 2xSATA, 6P+2P
  • ATX Midi Tower Case White Shark Torpedo GCC-2304

However, the pc won't start. It just briefly starts and shuts down. It doesn't even come to the BIOS page

Make sure power connectors are correctly seated. CPU and big one. Make sure CPU fan is plugged into fan.

Then BIOS needs to be updated for your CPU.

Are you using the IGP of the 8600G? Which motherboard port is the monitor connected to?

Is your memory 1x16 or 2x8? Have you verified the correct slots for your board?

What CPU cooler are you using? Is the fan connected to the header labeled CPU_FAN?

Check the thermal paste application. Ensure good coverage without excess on the CPU PCB or socket area.

Reseat the 20+4pin and 4+4pin (or 1x8) power connectors to the motherboard.

Try a different power outlet or connect a power supply tester.
