Frequency of manual updates required to update GPU drivers

Hi! I have an Asus FX505DY with a Ryzen 5 and Radeon RX 560X, and I'm a streamer. I'm having a consistent issue where anytime a GPU update is pushed live, some of my games and even my ability to record in OBS go out the window until I go and download the new driver package, run the wizard and restart my computer.

The real problem here is that there have been numerous occasions where I've had to do this process multiple times in a single day. There was even one day with three of them. There has GOT to be a better way.

This format is extremely disruptive, and I can't even update from inside the Adrenalin software, because when the update goes live, I can't even open THAT anymore. And I never know when it's going to happen. I could be getting ready to go live or record something, and then the update goes live and half my computer breaks until I update. Then I'm off schedule, and people start getting upset, including myself.

In closing...

Sounds like windows update overwriting/replacing the driver with the windows update catalogue version. There are guides on the web how to block them.

I'm definitely going to look into that today. It's quite infuriating to deal with numerous times a day. Thank you so much for the info!
